The other day we witnessed a DZone disaster. The article (Web Frameworks - We Need Less, But They Keep Adding More (Part 1)) was a five-paragraph claim that typical/most Java web frameworks were full of bloat and too complex, and that this is bad. I don't think anybody would argue that. The disaster's underpinnings? He was voted down, and called the downvoter a jerk.I also voted the article down-
